Frequently Asked Questions

What is a tincture?

Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), or roots from one or more plants in alcohol or vinegar. The alcohol or vinegar pulls out the active ingredients in the plant parts, concentrating them as a liquid.

How do I take a tincture?

Tinctures can be taken in a few different ways. You can take them straight into your mouth, or under your tongue (recommended for acute conditions, headaches, sharp pain … though this may create a burning sensation due to the alcohol content). A gentler way is put them in an ounce or less of water, tea or even sparkling water with or without juice. There is no right or wrong way to take a tincture, as long as you take all of the tincture.

Can I take different tinctures together?

All of our tinctures can be combined. We recommend taking no more than 3 at a time.

 What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns.

Are your products safe during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding?

Most of our products are formulated for pregnant and nursing mothers to give them support during that period of life, but still we recommend you consult with your trusted healthcare provider before starting a new herbal regimen.

 Are your products organic?

All of our tinctures, teas, powders and topicals are certified organic.
